When booking an initial consultation with Northlight Counseling LLC, you may be asked to provide personal information, including your phone number. Providing this information is optional. By providing your phone number, you consent to receive appointment reminders, administrative notifications, and other relevant communications.

Messaging services provided through Phone.com comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA, 47 U.S.C. § 227), which regulates text messaging for commercial and informational purposes. Clients provide prior express consent to receive SMS messages and may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
Data Security
Your privacy is my priority. I adhere to HIPAA guidelines and use HIPAA-compliant platforms to secure your personal and health information.
No Surprises Act Compliance
In accordance with the No Surprises Act (42 U.S.C. § 300gg-132), I provide transparent billing. If requested, I will supply a Good Faith Estimate outlining expected service costs before your appointment.
Insurance & Payment Information
Insurance
I am not in-network with any insurance providers. However, I accept:
Health Savings Account (HSA) cards
Other forms of direct payment
Superbills
After payment, I can provide a superbill, which you may submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Reimbursement is subject to your individual insurance policy.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule, I kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice to avoid a cancellation fee.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of an appointment will be charged the full session fee.
Limitation of Liability
Therapy is a collaborative process requiring active participation. While I strive to provide quality care, Northlight Counseling LLC cannot be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of therapy services.
