My approach is compassionate, thoughtful, and direct. I want you to feel safe enough to explore your emotions at your own pace, but also supported in taking steps toward growth. I integrate Somatic Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), combining body-based awareness with evidence-based techniques to help you process challenges and find more stability. My focus is on working with trauma—whether recent or longstanding—so you can regain a sense of trust and connection in your life.
With over 15 years as a neuroscientist, I understand how trauma shapes the brain and nervous system. When you have insight into why you feel the way you do, it can be incredibly empowering. Our brains are wired to protect us, but sometimes, those protective instincts keep us stuck in survival mode. My goal is to help you move beyond that place and into a life that feels more connected and fulfilling.
About Me
Life can feel overwhelming at times—whether due to past experiences, family dynamics, or major transitions. If you’re feeling stuck, caught in a swirl of emotions, or unsure of how to move forward, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I offer a space where you can slow down, explore what’s coming up for you, and find a way forward that feels right.
My background has given me a deep understanding of how family dynamics, cultural influences, and personal history shape the way we experience the world. Growing up in a system where personal expression was limited and mental health was rarely spoken about, I learned early on how deeply these experiences shape our sense of self. For a long time, I believed that moving forward meant pushing through or leaving things behind—but real change happens when we turn toward our experiences, process them, and develop a deep trust that life carries us forward, even when it doesn’t feel that way yet.
Having lived in different countries and cultures, I value the diverse ways we navigate life. I recognise that personal history, cultural background, and values all influence how we process challenges, and I offer an approach that honours your unique experience.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy staying active, spending time with my family, and caring for my two cats. Maintaining a strong connection with my body is essential to my well-being, and I encourage my clients to explore what helps them feel grounded and connected in their own lives.

If you are feeling stuck or unsure where to start, that’s completely okay. You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. My vision for my clients is to foster self-acceptance and take meaningful steps toward navigating life’s challenges. Wherever you are in your journey, I am here to meet you there.

My Certifications
-
I hold a Trauma Counseling Certificate from Antioch University Seattle, where I gained a comprehensive understanding of trauma and trauma-informed care. My training covered the neurobiology of trauma, childhood trauma, crisis counseling, and advanced treatment modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Somatic Experiencing. I apply this knowledge to help clients process trauma, build self-awareness, and regulate emotions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques—all within a safe and supportive space.
-
I am trained in Level 1 of Internal Family Systems (IFS), a transformative, evidence-based therapy that helps individuals and couples understand and integrate the different parts of themselves. IFS focuses on the idea that we all have internal "parts" (like our inner critic, protector, or wounded child) and that these parts can sometimes conflict, leading to emotional pain and difficulties in relationships. Through IFS, we work together to build a deeper understanding of these internal dynamics, foster self-compassion, and promote healing.
Whether you're looking to address unresolved trauma, improve your emotional regulation, or navigate relationship challenges, IFS provides a compassionate, nonjudgmental framework to explore and understand your inner world. This approach is especially helpful in untangling deep-seated patterns and promoting lasting growth by allowing you to connect with and heal the parts of yourself that need attention.

I completed TF-CBTWeb2.0, a specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidence-based approach designed to support children, adolescents, and caregivers in processing trauma. This model helps young clients regulate emotions, build resilience, and develop coping strategies while equipping caregivers to foster a safe, nurturing environment. I integrate TF-CBT principles into my work to create a trauma-informed space that supports emotional well-being at each client’s own pace.

-
I am trained in Level 1 of the Gottman Method, an evidence-based approach to couples therapy focused on improving communication, managing conflict, and strengthening emotional connections. I use this approach to help couples navigate challenges, build trust, and foster deeper, more meaningful relationships.
-
I am trained in the GPS (Group Peer Support) model, a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach to facilitating peer support groups. This model emphasizes safety, inclusivity, and empowerment, helping participants connect, share experiences, and build resilience. I use this approach to create supportive group environments that foster healing, mutual understanding, and meaningful connections.
-
I have participated in various courses offered by the University of Washington’s Center for Child & Family Well-being, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and (Re)establishing a Mindfulness Practice with Ease. These programs, rooted in evidence-based mindfulness practices, focus on cultivating awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience in the face of life’s challenges. My training has deepened my ability to integrate mindfulness techniques into therapeutic work, helping clients develop a more grounded and balanced approach to stress, anxiety, and trauma. Through mindfulness, I empower clients to build a greater sense of presence, improve emotional well-being, and foster self-compassion as they navigate their unique journeys.

-
I am a certified Practitioner of Facilitating Attuned Interactions (FAN), a model designed to enhance communication and emotional attunement between professionals and families. This training strengthens my ability to remain present and responsive, helping parents better understand and connect with their children, particularly during times of stress and transition.
-
I completed a 10-week Perinatal Mental Health Intensive, gaining in-depth knowledge of perinatal mental health concerns, diagnoses, and evidence-based interventions. This training equipped me to support individuals facing postpartum depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief with informed and compassionate care tailored to their needs.
