Insurance
Northlight Counseling accepts Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Illinois (PPO), Magellan Health Services, and PHCS (Private Health Care Systems, Inc.) and Assurant Health, as well as insurance companies, who have merged with Magellan: Benefit Administrative Systems, Ltd., Behavioral Health Systems, Inc., CIGNA, AETNA, Illinois Summit: Aetna Non-HMO, Lucent, Ameren, Continental General Tire, Pactiv Corp., Schneider National. Illinois Navigator: Chicago Council of Carpenters, State of Illinois, which includes: Quality Care Health Plan, Local Care Health Plan, Teacher’s Choice Health Plan, College Choice Health Plan
I am considered “out of network” for any other insurances, at this time. I will provide you with a “super bill,” which you can file directly with your insurance company.
Mental health counseling services provided by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or with a Masters in Social Work (MSW), are often a covered expense in most health insurance plans. For coverage verification and amount, you will need to check with your insurance provider.
Payment Terms
Full payment for services is required at each session. Sorry, but we are not able to accept credit cards at our office. However, you are welcome to use your credit card by submitting payment using our online payment service prior to your session. If desired, a receipt and super bill will be issued at each session, so that you may file a claim with your insurance company.
