Telephone Counseling

Telephone counseling is an accessible and convenient way to do counseling from the comfort and privacy of your home, car or office. Telephone sessions are not covered at present by most health insurance plans. However, some medical expenses can be deducted from your taxes, depending on the laws in your state.

When Is Online and Telephone Counseling  NOT  Recommended?

  • If you are considering suicide or have suicidal thoughts.
  • If you are in physical danger or in danger of being physically or sexually abused.
  • If you are having thoughts of hurting yourself or someone else.
  • If there is actual or suspected physical abuse or neglect of a child.
  • If you are in the midst of a serious emotional crisis or if you have severe emotional problems.
  • If you are unwilling, uncomfortable or unable to express your feelings in written form.
  • If you are under 18 years of age. You must be at least 18 to legally consent to use my services.

To schedule a phone session, you must read the Client-Counselor Consent Form and then complete and submit the Counseling Questionnaire. There is no cost for submitting the questionnaire. I will contact you be email, usually within 24-48 hours. If I feel that I can help you and that you are an appropriate candidate for working with me over the telephone, we will schedule your session.

Fees listed below include the long-distance phone call. Telephone counseling must be paid in advance prior to the appointment.  PLEASE BE AWARE THAT I AM ONLY AVAILABLE FOR TELEPHONE COUNSELING ON WEDNESDAY EVENINGS AND FRIDAYS DURING THE DAY, from 8 a.m. through 3 p.m.

60-min. Telephone Counseling Session: $120.

30-min. Telephone Counseling Session: $60.
